We featured Mary Iverson on the site this time last year in conjunction with her solo show at Park Life, and she is back showing in San Francisco in a group show at White Walls opening next Saturday. Linear Empires features Iverson, Augustine Kofie, Geoff Campen, Diana Ruiz, Richard Pearse, Moneyless, Brendan Monroe and Gregory Ito. Her work, as always, looks really good.
We have always been a fan of the work of London’s EINE, whose blocks letters and sign paintings have been some of the most solid in all of street art. EINE is showing at White Walls in San Francisco soon, so this is a good preview. It was shot over a weekend with the artist. Good looking out.
Our good friend and collaborators from Brooklyn by way of SF, Morning Breath, are showing at SF’s Shooting Gallery this Saturday night. And while you are there at the Shooting Gallery show featuring Morning Breath, wear this hat designed by MB.
Morning Breath, Manos Extranos, Shooting Gallery, December 11-January 1, 2011.
An old friend of the Upper Playground family, Kofie One, has a new solo show up at White Walls here in SF, and Juxtapoz.com caught up with the man to talk about his new show, process, and architecture. Read the whole thing here.
