We have never been huge Neck Face fans, but we definitely like the Lady Gaga reference in this piece, and we kind of feel like we are learning to enjoy his work a bit. Neck Face is on the cover of the new September 2011 issue of Juxtapoz, and we are excited to see Kaput in there. Good graffiti stuff from Vancouver right there.

We love George Lois. He is the original Mad Man and he did the best magazine covers in the history of the medium. Raymond especially loves him after spending time with Lois in his Manhattan apartment. Now, Lois is the cover subject of It’s Nice That, which we will now buy and cherish.

We don’t know enough about It’s Nice That to comment, but what we can say is that having that particular Erwin Wurm piece on the cover is a good choice. They even have an interview with the Austrian artist, so they did the whole nine yards. We want to read it.

We interviewed KR a few months back, and now we see he just did the cover of the British magazine, Exit. Looks like an old-school Absolut ad on the cover with a Krink drip on it, but we are not sure what the vodka or beverage of choice may be, just that it is “iconic.”

We are fans of Sneeze Magazine, partly because its a huge format that really makes those images get a front and center experience. They had a nice Supreme issue a few months back, and then an issue with this girl on the cover. Now, they come with Danny Trejo of “Machete.”
Go get it now.

Brigitte Bardot on the cover of a Consort Magazine from 1960? Kind of cool, right? Somewhere in a search of magazine covers from the 1960s not done by George Lois, we found a site that has a bunch of vintage magazine covers from the early 1960s.

A copy of the iconic Annie Leibovitz photo “John and Yoko” is going up for auction. Why is this photo so famous? Well, it was taken just hours before Lennon was shot in December 1980 and appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, that’s why. The is more the famous. ArtDaily reports “It’s one of 40 copies and is expected to bring $10,000 to $15,000 at Swann Auction Galleries on Oct. 19.”

We had a great show with RETNA back in 2007. Nice to see him on the cover of Juxtapoz.
Upcoming to the gallery in 2011 is INSA on the subscriber cover

So, then for the August/September Complex, they put the jailbird herself on the cover with the help of KAWS, the dude who puts XX’s and gloves on everything.
