With the holiday shopping season upon us, and the US Postal Service almost dead, we turn to FedEx for our shipping needs, and they have made a really great commercial to start the season off right. Made by BBDO, Toronto, Canada.
The 8th Season of Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is probably the best yet, and we just finished watching it last night. And the season goes there and beyond, just offensive moment after offensive moment. Some cringe worthy, but all brilliant. This is the scene where Larry has a problem with all the “thumping” going on above his apartment. Who lives upstairs? Michael J Fox. Just watch.
When you win NBA Finals MVP, and your name is Dirk, you get the title “The German Moses,” and you get a song for yourself. We don’t even care if the season is over, we are still riding Dirk to the end.
But just as a temp. Because Steve Carell is making that bad decision to leave his bread & butter of “The Office,” the series gets an extra boost this season when Will Ferrell joins the cast for a few episodes. NBC described Will Ferrell’s character on “The Office” as “a branch manager who arrives from the home office and proves to be just as inappropriate” as Mr. Carell’s character, Michael Scott. The network did not say how many episodes Mr. Ferrell would appear in – only that his story would play out over “an arc of episodes” – and it did not immediately announce when those episodes would be shown.
Mary-Louise Parker as Nancy Botwin, one of the best casting calls in TV. Anyone watch the Season 6 premiere of “Weeds” last night? Anyone tell us what happened, what is going down, where we can watch it again. We don’t have Showtime, so you can see our dilemma.
