Tom Waits is publishing his first book of poetry, Hard Ground, in collaboration with Michael O’Brien, a bit of news that we think is more worthy of Thanksgiving news than parades and such. The book will feature a collection of poems and images about homelessness, and its from the pen of Tom Waits, which guarantees good stuff.
The Guardian has the full story, and the book will be out in March 2011. O’Brien and Waits have collaborated on projects before: O’Brien has photographed Waits, including the cover of Glitter and Doom Live.
