Peter Funch, one of our favorite photographers, will be presenting new triptychs at V1 Gallery’s Armory show booth this week. The entire booth has a nice focus. A Nordic Focus if you will. Featuring works from not only Funch, but Thomas Øvlisen, Søren Behncke, Jesper Dalgaard, Julie Nord, Troels Carlsen, and Hesselholdt & Mejlvang.

Two quotes that Funch is using around his new work makes us especially happy:

“That’s what the World is, after all, an endless battle of contrasting memories…” —Haruki Murakami, 1Q84

“Trout, incidentally, had written a book about a money tree. It had twenty-dollar bills for leaves. Its flowers were government bonds. Its fruit was diamonds. It attracted human beings who killed each other around the roots and made very good fertilizer.” —Kurt Vonnegut, Slaughterhouse Five

Kanye West interviews Rihanna for Interview Magazine

Posted from The Citrus Report

Any interview that begins like this is not really worth the read:

KANYE WEST: Whuzup?

RIHANNA: Hey. How are you?

I’m good. I’m just out here in this retarded-ass studio- Peter Gabriel’s studio.

Where? In London?

Yeah. Like two hours out.

Then again, we read the whole thing. .. .
