On the official day that Radiohead release their 8th LP, The King of Limbs, we go with our favorite 2011 Radiohead song, “Give Up the Ghost.” By Radiohead standards, this is a simple, haunting number that sort of fits perfectly in an album of electronic explorations. A centerpiece that stands alone.

Wandering around the Internet prior to the Super Bowl, we saw this video for jj “Money On My Mind.” Not an official video, but some girls feeling angsty to a good song using an xx sample.

Very cool: “Linotype: The Film” Official Trailer

This is really cool, a “documentary about Ottmar Mergenthaler’s amazing Linotype typecasting machine and the people who own and love these machines today.” We didn’t know anything about this film until last night, when Selectism posted it, and now we want to see the full-length.
They are trying to get funding for the film, where you can donate here.

Wonderfulness: Wolf Larsen “Maybe, Baby”

This Wolf Larsen song makes us want to skip down streets. Frolic in meadows. Play with puppies. So yeah, a normal Tuesday morning at The Citrus Report office – but this time with a nice french-tinged soundtrack sung by an angelic voice.
The song was apparently made for a short film by Daniella Katvan of Headlight Films, which was the official selection at a few film festivals recently, it’s below as well…
