Probably our favorite beat from J Dilla’s masterstroke Donuts, we like a little extra touch from Black Thought of The Roots in this nice remix. Sounds like this is exactly what it should be. Good morning to you. We are here again.
Phlegm keeps going and going, with this nice Gorey-esque piece on a crumbling brick structure in Sheffield, England. When we met Phlegm we found him to be a very nice person, good work ethic, amazingly detailed notebook, and we always enjoy how he puts his work up on brick. (via unurth)
We don’t know why Thom Yorke is laughing, but maybe he didn’t believe in the Karma Police when he performed this and he found the French to be rather nice. And Jonny doesn’t seem to know anyone is even there.
You got to love ESPO hanging out with the kids. In conjunction with his solo show, DAYS, at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, and of course, Street Market at MOCA, there is this nice video that just came out all culminating in ESPO, Steve Powers to his parents, being a really good artist.
Juxtapoz Magazine went and shot some footage at Cody Hudson’s studio in Chicago, and shot Mr. Struggle Inc as he was constructing one of his wood art pieces. We always liked how Cody’s work had a very unique style and cut to it, even they way he cut wood was interesting, and this just captures the nice simplicity of it all.
Google just launched their newest search tool to take over Martha Stewart’s empire, The Google Recipe View. To be honest we aren’t really sure how or if it works because computers confuse us but we searched “Banana Bread” and got this nice photo that made us hungry. So much better than just REGULAR google search.
Steven Alan, whose name you recognize for making some of the nicest (and simplest) American made men’s and womenswear of the moment, just did a mini-collection for Nike Sportswear, featuring 4 nice Nike designs. CoolHunting shot this nice video, where Mr Alan talks about his inspirations and ideas behind each shoe he took on. We want all 4 styles, so we are fans.
What is great about this Ambulance LTD song, “Stay Where You Are,” is that it can be on an indie compilation, skate video, and the latter half, on your mom’s iPod. That is really one of the reasons why we love it. And with the nice 2:00 minute intro, you should like it, too.
