Neil Krug, whether it is in his music videos or photograph series, creates visuals that are the closest thing to a wonderful mushroom trip that we have ever seen. Moments seem to freeze, the colors twist, all without any sort over the top special effects. It … just … feels… right. This is Krug’s new video for the Warp artist, Gonjasufi.
We thought this song was like a decade old, but apparently it isn’t, and there is a new video for “Video Games” by Lana Del Rey. Good Super 8 footage of Hollywood, and a good song. Blue Jeans will be available from Oct 9th 2011…
We love when people take an old track and apply new visuals to it, and someone took the massively great Jaylib track, “The Heist,” and gave it a whole new video. This was for a Stones Throw contest, with the directors saying “We realize this song was released prior to the Donuts material but we had a hard time singling out any one song. We also wanted to see “The Heist” come to life with its great lyrics and potential for visual representation. So we apologize for any offense taken from mixing the two concepts. We just thought it was a cool way to have a donut MC. Hope you enjoy!”
Makers of the most comfortable shoes on the planet, Spanish shoe company Camper have a new video demonstration for the new P87 Cushioning System. If you have ever worn Camper’s, you know they are like walking on pillows. The music is by Klein, a track called “Tread Over It.”

This performance footage and new video for Arcade Fire’s “Ready to Start” off the new album, The Suburbs, is why everyone loved this band in the first place. Passion, uncontrolled energy, a tad sloppy, but all because they believed in the whole experience. This is one of only a few bands worth paying to see if they bring this… and we normally tune out on bands after a while…
We haven’t heard from the Liverpool band Clinic in awhile, but this new video for a new single, “I’m Aware,” directed by the great Pete Fowler, and there is a new album Bubblegum, out on October 4. A lot of Clinic news for you this fair Monday morning… watch the video.
