Bicicleta Sem Freio’s first US exhibition “This Is Not A Poster” opens Friday May 1st at 7pm at Fifty24SF Gallery.  The duo presents a collection of new works inspired by the art of band posters and their experience creating custom work for music festivals and musicians all over the world.

Kings of Leon got shit on by a bunch of pigeons in St Louis, Missouri Friday night, forcing them to cancel the show a few minutes into getting on stage. We are just saying, if pigeons are shitting on you when you get on stage….

We all thought the band was going to be a tad cooler after LPs #1 and #2. Turns out, they are douches. But Kings of Leon’s first track that caught our attention was “California Waiting,” a simple, two chord pop song that didn’t see desperate for U2 admiration or fake supermodel dating templates. It was just a damn good song.
