Eric Yahnker is a contemporary artist born in 1976 in Torrance, California. His humorous, meticulously rendered graphite and colored pencil drawings and elaborate process pieces examine pop culture and politics. His jaw-dropping graphite and colored pencil drawings and other vivid works are sprinkled with absurdist humor and glimmers of the subconscious.
Eric Yahnker is a California-based artist who humorously examines pop culture and politics with satirical compositions made with graphite and colored pencil. Check out select work from Eric below and visit his websitefor more information.
Eric Yahnker just opened a new show at The Hole in NYC, and he sent over a big selection of the work and installation he built in the big gallery space on Bowery. As a draftsman, humorist, and fine artist, there aren’t many artists as good as Yahnker.
Eric Yahnker has been the talk of the town, as some of our colleagues have been raving about the work of Eric Yahnker. We are into the work as well, and after seeing a few previews, Fecal Face made it out to the show and took some nice photos. We love the Lasagna can, Warhol a la 2011. The pizza piece, too, is priceless. We can see a lot of this work being popular with people…
