Definitely Thursday: “Up in the Sky”

We always loved the initial rush of the 4th track off of Definitely Maybe, as you had got through some great pop tunes in the beginning three tracks. “Up in the Sky” was just a quick shot of adrenaline with the same sentiment as “Live Forever:” And Liam really sounded like a snarling kid on a bit of a drug high. Sounds better now than it did then.

Defnitely Thursday: Noel Gallagher “I Wanna Live In A Dream (In My Record Machine) “

This is the week where Noel Gallagher releases his first post-Oasis album, and although we think its one his better efforts in probably 16 years, some people will not be into the Chief solo. We might as well go back about 17 years to the original excitement of Oasis, and a middle track on Definitely Maybe, “Bring It On Down.” This song has grown on us over the years, a simple rocker that has evolved well since our teenage years. Enjoy.

Definitely Thursday: “Let’s All Make Believe”

One of those epic Oasis tracks that was sent to B-side even though it would be any other bands A-side, “Let’s All Make Believe” seems to be one of the most personal songs between Noel and Liam in the Oasis catalog. There is something sad about this song, as if they knew it would never work, the brothers were always going to disagree with each other.
