Tad Dylan Lee

Where do you live? I’m currently in Athens, Georgia. I travel a lot, I don’t know if this ‘home’. I’m not sure I’ll ever discover that in particular.

What do you take pictures of? I shoot mostly people, cause we’re about pretty damn interesting in our ways. I enjoy travelin’ and shooting scenic locales as well…Nature is a driving force.

What kind of camera do you use? I use a Yashica D Twin-Lens, Canon 40D, and Nikon N80 with a couple lenses.

Are you formally trained in photography? I got a ‘commercial photography’ certificate for a 2-year program. I had been shooting photos for years prior, and was pretty much ahead of the rest of the class experience wise.

What are your influences? Henri Cartier-Bresson, Annie Lebovitz, Bruce Davidson, Dan Eldon, my grandfather Mac, Robert Capa, Elliott Erwitt, Steve McCurry, Alec Soth, Boogie…

Where do you see yourself in five years? On a farm somewhere, growing loads of food, playing bluegrass and enjoying the country-life…

What makes you happy? Traveling, making others smile, MUSIC!, meeting new folks, shooting portraits, growing heirloom vegetables, farming, gardening, reading, trains, guitar, banjo, bluegrass, loving..
