Sale Rules


  • Due to the enormous sales volume generated by our 50% off sale, orders will not be processed or begin to ship until WED, the 25th. Once your order has been processed, you will be emailed with an electronic receipt and tracking number. The receipt of a tracking number does not necessarily indicate the package has been shipped, just that it has been processed, which means your tracking number may be “Initiated” in the Fedex tracking system for 7-10 days. That is not cause for alarm.
  • Since orders are being fulfilled in the order they are received, no expedited shipping (2–Day, Express Saver, Standard Overnight) will be offered.
  • International customers: The sale is only available to customers with shipping addresses in North America.


  • Although inventory is updated hourly, we cannot guarantee every item requested will be available due to the high volume. In the case an item is out of stock, you will only be charged for the items available and your shipping costs will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Changes to orders will not be accepted (add-ons, substitutions, combined shipping etc).
  • In-store and warehouse pickups/drop-offs will not be available.

Billing / Payment:

  • The billing address requested during checkout must be the same address your bank/credit card company has on file (normally, the address your account statement is mailed to every month). If unsure, please contact your bank prior to placing your order.
  • If a billing issue occurs due to incorrect billing information you will be notified via email with instructions on how to fix the issue. You must reply within 24 hours or your order will be cancelled.
  • Upper Playground does not recommend the use of Visa/Master Card/American Express Gift Cards during the sale.
  • For large orders, you may be contacted via email for additional information as a fraud prevention method.
  • Groupon and discount codes cannot be redeemed during sale period.


  • Upper Playground will not be processing returns/exchanges during the sale.
  • Sale items can only be exchanged for a different size of the same item for an even exchange to occur. For all other returns/exchanges, an item’s value is determined by the price paid at the time of purchase.
  • New Era caps are not eligible for return/exchange. Before purchasing a New Era cap, please refer to our size chart found at the bottom of the webstore.

Please remember we are a very small company and our main objective is to get you the products you order. If the product is not in the warehouse, we then try to locate it at one of our Bay Area stores. While most orders will ship in a timely manner beginning on Wednesday the 25th, the shipping window will be 7-10 business days, due to the high volume, limited staff, and trans-bay attempts to potentially locate your item. If you are in hurry to receive your order, or patience is not your strongest characteristic, we humbly request that you refrain from ordering during the sale.
