Former hedge funder Glen Whitney saw a small math museum on Long Island fail in 2008 due to lack of funding. He left his hedge fund job about this same time and formed a traveling math exhibit that he raised 22 million with in the last couple years that he plans on using to build the museum with. He hopes to be open by 2012 and in the mean time has events that show the math in things like origami and music. This looks really nerdy and fun, we are all about it.
